All of our programs are designed to reduce waste and reuse material as much as possible. River City’s four R’s (Reduction, Remanufacturing, Recycled & Retrieval) sustainability pallet program audit has helped hundreds of our customers meet their sustainability goals as well as drive down their overall pallet spending.

River City will remove all scrap pallets at any of your locations. We will sort and repair these scrap pallets and return the repaired pallets back into your operations at a reduced cost. All pallets considered unrepairable will be used for mulch, animal bedding and fuel. None of the scrap wood will ever be sent to landfills. In addition to pallet recycling and retrieval, we offer full service recycling of wood, paper, corrugated, plastics, glass and metal. Recycling these onto a dropped trailer freeing up warehouse and dock space. Recycling limits exposure to paid landfill disposal by reducing your waste stream. Being “green” notonly makes sense financially, but it also helps sustain our environment for the future.

River City’s pallets are 100% biobased and certified under USDA’s BioPreferred program. Biobased products are derived from renewable agricultural, marine & forestry materials. The use of biobased products reduces our nation’s reliance on petroleum, increases the use of renewable resources, and contributes to reducing adverse environmental and health impacts.
